From April 5th to April 7th, 2022, the largest get-together of the Atlassian community finally took place again in Las Vegas (as well as digitally), after a 2-year break due to corona. Atlassian partners, app vendors and customers joined the event to share the latest highlights, make new contacts and most importantly: celebrate each other and the Atlassian ecosystem! We also had some good reasons to join the fun: the integration of K15t’s consulting unit into Scandio was highly cheered by the Atlassian community and we had great conversations at the Scandio booth as well as exciting prospects for future projects.

The event kicked off with the opening keynote by Atlassian Co-Founder and Co-CEO Scott Farquhar and Chief Operating Officer Anu Bharadwaj. Under the banner of Culture eats strategy for breakfast, they spoke about the ever-increasing importance of effective teamwork and the influence of a positive corporate culture on the success of a digital transformation.

We had quite a bit going on at our booth!

Anu Bharadwaj presented new functions for Confluence and Access and gave an overview of facts and figures from the Atlassian ecosystem. Especially Cloud Enterprise customers can expect some handy new features in the future: with the help of Chartio, Atlassian created a brand new analytics hub, which can be used to establish custom reports and analyses from a company’s own data lake. Also, within the next 12 months, four new regions will be available for Data Residency: Canada, Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom.

But the highlight of the event was definitely the presentation of two completely new Atlassian tools: Atlas und Compass.

Atlas is the first teamwork directory to connect the dots across teams, their apps, and their work - wherever it happens. It enables transparent communication across teams within the company, supporting more effective collaboration and autonomy to achieve great results.

Specifically targeting development teams, Compass helps navigate distributed architectures by bringing together disconnected information about engineering output and the teams collaborating on them together in one central, searchable location.

The fact that cloud was the topic at Atlassian Team ‘22 should be no surprise to anyone. Due to the enormous development effort that Atlassian has put into its cloud products in recent years, cloud is by far the most efficient option in terms of productivity, flexibility and security for companies of any size. Atlassian is constantly working on (further) developing new and existing cloud solutions, empowering teams to great collaboration and results. As Platinum Solution Partner, we support our customers on their journey to digitization and their move to the cloud.

„The spirit of creating great things together with Atlassian, our customers and our partners is what drives us forwards. These days in Las Vegas have once again underlined what a great community we are part of.”
Christian Koch, Co-CEO Scandio

And with that said, there were not only days packed with key-notes, meetings and inspiring talks, but also fun evenings with a lot of socializing: whether it was playing golf with our partners from EasyAgile or partying at the Atlassian Bash after-show, we had a whole lot of fun.

On that note, we are really looking forward to next year!
