(Junior) Systems Administrator / Application Manager (f/m/d)

  • As a Systems Administrator / Application Manger you will configure, support and monitor our IT infrastructure and you will technically manage the working capacity of our employees in a small team.
  • You will plan the introduction of new applications as well as our future workplace (Mac, Linux, Windows) and assist with purchasing for all internal IT concerns.
  • Together with your colleagues, you will operate a secure virtual network for the company with VPN access to our major customers.
  • In addition to standard software such as Atlassian, Nextcloud, PostgreSQL and many more, we also use self-developed software. Together with the team, you will make sure that everything runs smoothly.
  • As part of your ongoing education, you will participate in an agile training and have the option to get certified in leading cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Firewall, Cloud).


  • You have completed an apprenticeship or your degree in the area of IT and have preferably already gained some experience in the field of systems administration.
  • You are no stranger to cloud applications such as Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Miro and more.
  • You are passionate about Linux servers, business networks, databases, and cloud systems.
  • You are enthusiastic about the automation of installations, data security and IT security.
  • You want to learn about all kinds of systems and get to grips with user management, application servers, databases and web technologies.
  • You are communicative and want to support your new colleagues in all questions concerning IT at Scandio.


  • We are more than 150 people, spread over our offices in Munich, Augsburg, Regensburg, Berlin and Stuttgart as well as various home offices.
  • We work in self-organized structures and abstain from unnecessary hierarchies.
  • In our Communities of Practice (CoP), we discuss internal topics and deepen our knowledge, such as in the CoP Agile, the CoP Knowledge Transfer or the CoP Cloud.
  • As part of the HiQ Group, we have a continuously growing network and work on exciting international projects.
  • We already knew what value an open home office policy offered us long before Corona. But since we don’t intend to be a 100% remote company, we put a lot of emphasis on a hybrid structure and interactions in the office.
