1. Your application

Cover letter: We are looking forward to get to know more about your journey so far and your motivation. Moreover, we would like to know about your earliest possible starting date, desired working time, and salary expectation.

CV: Actually a very important document! Please give us a detailed overview of your educational background and your professional experience and knowledge (if possible with a project history).

Attachments: Certificates of A-level/apprenticeship/study/doctorate + employment references and/or project references. We prefer to read PDF files, please avoid ZIP files.

2. Video interview

If your application convinced us you will receive an invitation for a video interview. During the approx. forty-five-minute conversation we will ask you some questions to get to know you better and answer your questions. You will get feedback within three to five business days.

3. Personal meeting

Phew, you almost did it! During the personal conversation we would like to get to know you even better because we are really interested in winning you over to the Scandio team. After one to three business days you will get a final response with our decision.

In case you're wondering what to wear to the interview: Of course, you should feel comfortable first and foremost! Leave the suit or the costume in the closet. But your sweatpants too. 😉

Hybrid Company Structure
You choose where you work best - in one of our modern offices or in the home office. However, since we do not want to become a 100% remote company, we highly value personal encounters in the office and are always happy about joint activities.
Voluntary Profit Distribution
Every employee has a share in the company's success. If Scandio is successful, our employees should also profit from it. For this reason, 20% of Scandio's earnings from the previous business year (Jan-Dec) are distributed according to affiliation and weekly hours. A "whole" share is capped at €5,000 per person. If a person has been with the company for 36 months at the end of the year and works full time, he or she receives the entire share, otherwise a proportionately lower share depending on the length of employment and weekly hours.
Modern Offices & Tools
With us, you are free to choose your preferred operating system or, if you wish, you can use your own device and receive an allowance from us. In addition, you will get an allowance of 50€ for a headset of your choice. In our modern offices with good infrastructure and on-site parking, you can work productively and compete with your colleagues at table tennis, kicker or darts during your lunch break. Or maybe you prefer to recharge your batteries in the hammock?
Drinks & Snacks
In our offices we offer coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer as well as fresh fruit for free. In addition, we have a shared lunch once a week at each of our locations, whether it's a traditional "Weißwurst" breakfast or a pizza from the local Italian restaurant. Of course, a get-together after official meetings is also part of the program!

Agile Training
In our exciting projects, we work with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban. Our self-organization is also based on an agile mindset. Every employee receives an agile training within the first months, no matter if developer, consultant or non-techie.
Feedback and Progress
Continuous mutual feedback is important! That's why we offer regular feedback sessions, where you have the opportunity to receive and give feedback and plan your personal development. Since our internal structures are to be constantly improved, we also organize an annual Open Space to review our processes and develop new approaches.
Further Education, Know-How Transfer & Certifications
We encourage continuous learning and offer you the opportunity to participate in both internal and external workshops and training sessions. Our Knowledge Responsibles organize the internal knowledge transfer and assist you with the implementation of workshops - these take place on average every 14 days. With our support, you can also achieve various certifications of your interest (e.g. Atlassian, AWS, Azure, SAFe, Salesforce, Scrum, Slack, etc.).
ShipIt Days
Realize your own ideas and projects at our annual ShipIt Days! For 24 hours we don't work on customer projects, but only on our own ideas. An award ceremony and an after party are part of it too!
Events & Trips
Work hard, play hard! After work, we regularly meet for game nights or to relax in the beer garden. In addition, our recurring excursions and our Christmas party are indispensable! To strengthen our team spirit, we attach great importance to regular team evenings, for which we have an extra budget and are also happy to help with the organization.
Pledge 1%
We support the Pledge 1% movement and donate 1% of our working hours to charitable projects every year (e.g. we volunteer in social institutions such as the kindergarten or lend a hand at the animal shelter).
